EXERCISE-Hopex

• Indian Air Force and Egyptian Air Force conducted 'Exercise-HOPEX' to strengthen defence cooperation.

• The fourth joint exercise of IAF and Eastern Air Force was held in Egypt from June 21 to 26.
• Rafale fighter jets of Indian Air Force (IAF) participated in Exercise-HOPEX in Egypt.
• C-17 Globemaster and IL-78 tankers also participated in the week-long exercise.

• The aim of this exercise is to promote bilateral and regional cooperation, which symbolizes the long-term relations between the two countries.
